Ukiyo-e is a Japanese art genre produced from the 17th to 19th centuries. It translates to 'pictures of the floating world' and was created using woodblock prints. Subjects often included landscapes, flora, history, beautiful women, and even erotica. This short-length kimono or Happi Coat features a Japanese village scene detailing water, women, boating, and landscapes.

Set against a black background, the vivid scenery comes to life in a multitude of colors. This robe is expertly crafted in Japan of 100% cotton with contemporary straight sleeves and two pockets on the front. Easy to care for; machine washes in cold water for best results. A matching belt is included.

The model shown is 5' 9" tall and is wearing the shorter Small/Medium size, available at regular price.

These short robes are perfect for lounging, as a cover-up at the pool, pairing with slacks or jeans for a night out, or a romantic intimate evening at home with your significant other.

This open bag happi coat is available in size: Medium/Large.

Medium/Large, measures 42" in length. Designed to fit women 5' 4" to 5' 11" in height. The sleeve length is 13", shoulder width is 25" and the circumference is 50".

Circumference is measured from one end of the fabric to the other as if the robe was fully opened and laid flat on a table. Allowing for overlap to close the robe and tie with the belt, it will accommodate a hip/waist size up to 39". To see where the length will fall on you, measure from the top of your shoulder and down your side or front. These robes will be longer on shorter ladies and shorter on taller women.
