Chöpa is an Online Kimono Shop established in 1994. We do not operate retail storefronts. Orders are shipped from facilities located in the USA.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, PayPal, and PayPal Credit.

ONLINE ORDERS - Place orders online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Ordering online is safe, convenient, and easy. Browse our store and add the products you have selected to your virtual shopping cart. When you are done shopping, simply "check out" and enter your complete billing, shipping, and payment information. An order summary will appear and an order confirmation will be sent via email within a minute or two. If you do not receive an email confirmation, check your SPAM folder or email us and we will resend your confirmation.

PHONE ORDERS - We have transitioned away from telephone support. With the Internet, Smartphones, and Tablets, telephone calls steadily dwindled over the years while electronic communication surged. We invite you to place orders online through our safe and secure website. Although we no longer answer live telephones, we still want to communicate with you. Send us an email anytime. You can also text us or leave a voicemail message with an email address at 850-400-3003 and we will promptly reply to your message. Our communication channels are manned by real human beings who are more than happy to help you with any questions or concerns you might have. Most inquiries are answered on the same day. We also monitor communications periodically on weekends and Holidays.

MAIL ORDERS - Submit your order by mail, indicating product number, style, and quantity. Send a check or money order payable to Sakura Bay Inc. Please remit the total charges including shipping, and if you are shipping to a Florida address, including sales tax of 7%. Be sure to enclose your telephone or email address so that we may contact you if additional information is required. For customer security, we do not accept cash and request that you not send credit card information via email or mail.

Shipping and Receiving

Your order is shipped from a warehouse located in the United States. Orders are shipped via FedEx, UPS, or USPS. Depending on your location, please allow 2 - 5 business days for standard ground delivery. Most orders ship within one business day. You will be notified by email if an item is out of stock. Express Shipping is available on most items throughout the USA. Allow 2 business day delivery for Express Service to most locations. Chopa is not responsible for carrier delays. We are not responsible for packages that are stolen after delivery is made.

International: We ship to the USA only. Chopa does not ship to International destinations. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Return Policy

HOLIDAY RETURNS. Purchases made November 11 through December 24 may be exchanged or returned through January 20th, 2025. Request an authorization by January 10, 2025.

We understand that online shopping entails making purchases "sight unseen" and we want you to be satisfied with your purchase.

If you wish to return or exchange an item, contact us for authorization within 30 days of the ship date. Merchandise must be in new, unused condition. Items that have been worn, washed, altered, or contain any tobacco aroma or pet hair are non-returnable. Items must be returned in the original packaging (glassine bags for yukata and kimono). A return authorization number should be written on the outside of the package. Merchandise returned in an altered condition is subject to a restocking fee or may be refused. Certain items are not refundable and are not eligible for returns: Headbands, Hachimaki, Socks, Obi's, Gift Bags, Jewelry, Gift Certificates, and Clearance Merchandise. We do not require the original outer packaging used for shipping, but encourage you to reuse and recycle, if possible. You may use the carrier of your choice to return your package and recommend obtaining a tracking number to verify your shipment to our return center.
Refunds will be processed, less original shipping costs. Orders that are refused at delivery are subject to return shipping costs and a restocking fee.
Returns of merchandise with Free Shipping are refunded, less our actual outgoing shipping cost.
Returns of multiple items from the same customer may be subject to restocking fees.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Chopa will refund your shipping costs if your merchandise was damaged during the initial shipping process, or if you receive an incorrect or defective item. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Orders returned without a "Return Authorization" may be refused. All sales are final after 30 days. Contact us for Return Authorization.

Gift Wrap

We offer gift bags for most items. If a gift bag is available, it appears as an option in your shopping cart along with the cost. Gifts are shipped in an attractive 100% eco-friendly, jute bag with a drawstring closure. These reusable bags are made from natural plant fiber and are durable, breathable, and biodegradable. The bags vary from printed designs to solid colors and are suitable for all occasions. We highly recommend reusing these bags. Your personalized message will be included on a handwritten tag. Prices will not be disclosed to the recipient. Gift bags are non-refundable.

Is It Safe To Use My Credit Card?

Shopping with us is safe. Chöpa operates on a secure, encrypted server using state-of-the-art software. Your transaction takes place on a secure server using SSL technology. Payment is processed with the latest 2048-bit SHA-2 standards. For added safety, we do not store payment information on any of our computer systems.

Do you have a catalog?

To preserve our natural resources, we do not offer a printed catalog. Please browse our website for our latest product offerings.

Collection of Sales Tax

We do not collect sales or use taxes in all states. For states imposing sales or use taxes, your purchase is subject to tax, unless it is specifically exempt from taxation. Your purchase is not exempt merely because it is made over the Internet or by other remote means. Many states require purchasers to file a sales/use tax return at the end of the year, reporting all taxable purchases that were not taxed, and paying tax on those purchases. Details of how to file these returns may be found on the websites of your respective taxing authorities.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Chöpa, its officers, directors, employees, and suppliers from and against all losses, expenses, costs, and damages including reasonable attorney fees arising from or related to your use or any other person accessing the site using your Internet account. Chöpa reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any reason. Products are subject to availability, and prices can change without notice. All orders are subject to the final approval and acceptance of Chopa. Web-posted price is valid at the time of purchase only. Liability is limited to the purchase price of any product.

Typographical Errors - If a product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for a product listed at the incorrect price. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Chopa shall issue a refund to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Chopa understands the privacy needs and concerns of our customers. Our goal is to provide you with an enjoyable shopping experience.
