Happi Coat - Sakura and Butterfly

A Happi Coat is a shorter-length version of a kimono or yukata.

A shorter version of our popular Japanese robes, this Happi Coat captures the essence of spring in bloom. In Japan, the sakura blossom is a metaphor for the fleeting nature of life. The butterfly is a symbol of young womanhood. The delicate shade of pink is taken from the cherry blossom and contrasted with golden leaves and branches, set against a black background.

This soft, comfortable shorter-length Happi Coat is made of 100% cotton with a shrink-resistant finish. This robe is perfect for lounging at home or in the garden. It can also be worn as a cover-up at the beach or pool. This Happi Coat has a side pocket and includes a matching belt. Made in Japan.

This women's Happi Coat is available in size: Small/Medium.

Small/Medium, measures 42" in length and is designed to fit a woman 4' 10" to 5' 10" in height. The sleeve length is 13", shoulder width is 25" and the girth is 45".

For sizing reference, you can measure yourself with a tape measure from the top of your shoulder and down your side to determine where 42" would fall on you. The robe will fall shorter on taller women and longer on shorter women. Girth is the entire width of cloth so the waist can adjust to many sizes and is fastened with the matching belt.
